Dénia, the nicest town of the Costa Blanca

Spain is by far the most favorite holiday destination in Europe. Besides its pleasant climate, visitors to this beautiful country will be immersed in Spanish traditions. From eating tapas and drinking sangria with the locals, to strolling through the quaint streets of authentic villages till late in the evening.

Abundant choices! Enjoy the vibrant city of Barcelona, breathe culture in the royal cities of Andalusia and explore deserted beaches on the rugged coastline of the North. For those who are looking for an authentic Spanish experience and want to avoid mass tourism at the same time, is Dénia the ideal place to spend your vacation.

Every travel blogger is nowadays on Instagram. Just like you I follow a few favorite accounts that are a great source of inspiration for me. One of them -and who doesn’t know it- is the account of We Are Travel Girls. It is a very large account with more than 130,000 followers. I especially like to follow it because of the beautiful pictures of fellow female travel bloggers in the most stunning places in the world.

Formentera, the Caribbean of the Balearic islands

When I was writing my last blog, I was still in a great villa on the Costa Blanca. Already then I wrote, that from Dénia you can reach very conveniently the island of Formentera. This little sister of Ibiza is one of the four Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean sea off the coast of Dénia.

Formentera is the smallest inhabited island of the four and lies just 8 kilometers south of Ibiza. Formentera is a friendly island and a real paradise. It can best be described as the Caribbean of the Balearic Islands, the sea is here incredibly blue! Formentera is popular for its beautiful small coves, steep cliffs, sensational white beaches and crystal clear blue sea.

Ibiza the place to be!

Hi I am Nadine from XcuseMe and I am super happy to write a guest blog for StylishTravelTips.com, or in other words for my dear friend Kasia. I visited Ibiza already three times and every time it is great again. That island does something to me and keeps inspiring me! I am lucky to have seen a lot of the world, but Ibiza is an island where I would like to go a lot more often.

It’s an island with something for everyone. If you head to the south of the island, you’ll find a lot of famous Dutch celebrities and high class restaurant. On the west side of the island you’ll find a lot of places to go out at night, but the north-east part of the island is our favorite. You’ll find a lot of locals here, the real Spanish foods and great beaches and views. Read More…

Rent your own villa at the Costa Blanca

Since years Spain is my favorite holiday destination, and I enjoy going there a lot. It’s always sunny, the Spaniards are warm-hearted and the food is delicious. In the past years, I regularly visit Dénia. This old fishing town is located on the Costa Blanca, just in between Valencia and Alicante in front of the Balearic coast.

Dénia is still authentic. Around the remnants of the old castle on the hill, you can still get lost in the old streets of the fishing quarter. From here you reach Ibiza in less than 3 hours by boat; therefore it is the perfect base for exploring the Balearic islands and vice versa. Large yachts moor in the port of Dénia and create a nice contrast between the authentic quarter and the modern port.

Partly due to the arrival of these super yachts, Dénia is all upcoming! Have you always wondered what it is like to stay in a real affordable villa on one of the coasts in Spain? Now you have the chance to discover it, because I’ll give you a gift of  €100 discount per booking!! Do you like to know how? Read along and you’ll find out…

Here we go again! Packing my suitcase and off I go

Traveling is in my blood and I take every chance I get to leave. Not only privately but also by invitation for my travel blog. And here we go again, today I step on the plane on my way to the Costa Blanca. I’m already looking forward to eating delicious tapas on a sunny terrace or chill out at a trendy beach bar enjoying the last summer days in beautiful Spain.

In the meantime, stress strikes again, because what do I bring? When I travel in Europe, I often bring only my hand luggage. Paying extra for a large suitcase I only do in exceptional cases. However, I’ll be traveling for 12 days, thus that’s quite a challenge! In this blog, I’ll show you how I, as a travel blogger pack my super nifty new suitcase and how also you can travel stylish and practical at the same time.

We don’t remember days we remember Moments

I have been back for a while now from my wonderful trip to Thailand and the Philippines with a computer full of pictures. I dare not to count them, but I think there are more than 2,000 pictures! Fantastic pictures of azure blue seas, white beaches, and tropical paradises.

And each photo has a special memory for me, but what do I do with all those pictures put away in a folder on my PC or hanging somewhere in the cloud? Nothing at all!

So I decided it was time to use my spare hours in the evening to make a picture selection and a photo book. And I should have done that much earlier because the result is stunning.
