Luxury lifestyle 5* hotel TUI BLUE Jadran, Croatia

Do you remember them, the Feel the Breeze Family who in 2020, the year of COVID-19 took off in their Land Rover to drive to their sailboat which was parked in Turkey with which they want to sail over the world? Last year, as exclusive ambassadors for Stylish Travel Tips, they stayed at the 5-star TUI BLUE Jadran hotel in Croatia, but not much later the travel advice was tightened and holidays to this beautiful country were advised against.

Fortunately, Croatia is back on yellow for a while and, with a health pass in your pocket, you won’t have to go into quarantine on your return. I would say, what are you waiting for, make a great roadtrip along the beautiful coast of Croatia and stay halfway in this super nice and stylish 5 star hotel. Chogogo, the most popular resort on Curaçao!

Chogogo Resort is located at the very end of Jan Thiel Bay. Hidden between the greenery, with on one side the salt pans in your backyard where you can spot flamingos and on the other side the Caribbean Sea. The owners of Chogogo bought this special piece of land almost 30 years ago and decided to turn it into a resort. Today the Chogogo resort is one of the most popular accommodations to book for a vacation on Jan Thiel.

Did you know that Chogogo means flamingo? It’s a nice reference to the many flamingos you can spot here in the water during a walk in the Salt Pans. The beautiful pink color of the flamingo is reflected in the beautiful flower bushes that bloom everywhere in the park. And that just through all the year, because on Curacao it is always nice weather 🙂 The different colored houses in yellow ocher, coral red, green and aqua blue finish it off. And with a clear blue sky you literally become happy with all those beautiful colors you see here every day!

Book your own Beach House in Colourful Pietermaai, Willemstad

Did you know that Pietermaai is one of the most beautiful districts of Willemstad? And that you can find the best restaurants of the island here? This district is really upcoming and everywhere nice bars pop up in the small colorful alleys. You can find very nice boutique hotels here, but my favorite is Beach House Pietermaai.

And of course the 180 km long coastline with beautiful beaches – some fully equipped with restaurants and beach clubs, but also secluded bays that you almost have for you alone.

Because Le Marche is so compact, you can combine all this beauty in one day. Walk through medieval streets in the morning and taste culture from the distant past, and relax on the beach in the afternoon. Puglia, discover the south of Italy

In recent years Puglia has emerged strongly as a tourist destination and if you ask me with all due respect. This unspoilt part of Italy has unique spots, delicious food, wine, culture, history and beautiful beaches. Thanks to the long, slender shape of this region, you’re never far from the sea! An easy drive in both directions – east or west – will take you to the Adriatic or Ionian sea, where you can enjoy long sandy beaches and the turquoise coloured sea.

You can find the Puglia region in the heel of the Italian boot, about 2.5 hours by plane from Amsterdam. As a visitor you will be amazed how beautiful this region is. From the magical countryside, to the spectacular cliffs that rise above the blue sea and of course the many white villages such as Ostuni and Alberobello with the characteristic trulli.

Tuscan villa in a fairytale landscape

Tuscany is a unique piece of Italy and offers all the ingredients for a wonderful holiday. In June of this year we travelled with our 11 month old baby girl by car through Croatia and Italy. Our journey through Italy started with the ferry crossing from Dubrovnik to Bari. Arriving in Puglia, in the south of Italy, our two week car journey started through one of the most beautiful countries of Europe with as final destination the beautiful Tuscany.
