Mallorca island of sun, sea, nature and culture

Mallorca is the largest of the Balearic Islands and for many European tourists the perfect destination for a relaxing holiday in the sun. Most travelers stay in the south of Mallorca in the popular beach resorts such as El Arenal, Playa de Mallorca, and Playa de Palma. But besides the beautiful beaches, Mallorca has so much more to offer!

I flew last week for a city trip to Palma de Mallorca and sought out the best sights for you. One thing the Balearic islands all have in common is the weather. Most of the time it is good with plenty of sunshine. Whether you are making a cultural visit to the town of Palma, discover the beautiful scenery on the north coast or just book a relaxing beach holiday, you find it all on Mallorca.

Spain is by far the most favorite holiday destination in Europe. Besides its pleasant climate, visitors to this beautiful country will be immersed in Spanish traditions. From eating tapas and drinking sangria with the locals, to strolling through the quaint streets of authentic villages till late in the evening.

Abundant choices! Enjoy the vibrant city of Barcelona, breathe culture in the royal cities of Andalusia and explore deserted beaches on the rugged coastline of the North. Formentera, the Caribbean of the Balearic islands

When I was writing my last blog, I was still in a great villa on the Costa Blanca. Already then I wrote, that from Dénia you can reach very conveniently the island of Formentera. This little sister of Ibiza is one of the four Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean sea off the coast of Dénia.

Formentera is the smallest inhabited island of the four and lies just 8 kilometers south of Ibiza. Formentera is a friendly island and a real paradise. It can best be described as the Caribbean of the Balearic Islands, the sea is here incredibly blue! Formentera is popular for its beautiful small coves, steep cliffs, sensational white beaches and crystal clear blue sea.

Ibiza the place to be!

Hi I am Nadine from XcuseMe and I am super happy to write a guest blog for StylishTravelTips.com, or in other words for my dear friend Kasia. I visited Ibiza already three times and every time it is great again. That island does something to me and keeps inspiring me! I am lucky to have seen a lot of the world, but Ibiza is an island where I would like to go a lot more often.

It’s an island with something for everyone. If you head to the south of the island, you’ll find a lot of famous Dutch celebrities and high class restaurant. On the west side of the island you’ll find a lot of places to go out at night, but the north-east part of the island is our favorite. You’ll find a lot of locals here, the real Spanish foods and great beaches and views. Read More…

Rent your own villa at the Costa Blanca

Since years Spain is my favorite holiday destination, and I enjoy going there a lot. It’s always sunny, the Spaniards are warm-hearted and the food is delicious. In the past years, I regularly visit Dénia. This old fishing town is located on the Costa Blanca, just in between Valencia and Alicante in front of the Balearic coast.

Dénia is still authentic. Around the remnants of the old castle on the hill, you can still get lost in the old streets of the fishing quarter. From here you reach Ibiza in less than 3 hours by boat; therefore it is the perfect base for exploring the Balearic islands and vice versa. Large yachts moor in the port of Dénia and create a nice contrast between the authentic quarter and the modern port.

Partly due to the arrival of these super yachts, Dénia is all upcoming! Have you always wondered what it is like to stay in a real affordable villa on one of the coasts in Spain? Now you have the chance to discover it, because I’ll give you a gift of  €100 discount per booking!! Do you like to know how? Read along and you’ll find out…
