Putahracsa Hua Hin is a small luxury boutique resort, idyllically situated at the beach of Hua Hin. It is a wonderful hotel with great service! Luxury and comfort abound. A wonderful place to relax and where you get pampered.
Hua Hin is perhaps not the first place that comes to your mind to visit in Thailand, but the city has positively surprised me! It starts when you arrive by train at the station of Hua Hin – one of the oldest railway stations in Thailand. It seems like going back in time. So nice!

Hua Hin
The town of Hua Hin is a relief when you arrive from the busy Bangkok. The center does not have any high-rise buildings and there is a lot of “green”. Birds are flying around, chirping and are landing into the high trees. This is my first experience of Hua Hin, when I arrived by train, very early in the morning.
Hua Hin is known as the summer residence of the Thai royal family. They have nearby the town a summer palace. The train station even has a special reception area for the Royal Family, the Royal Waiting Room, when they come to Hua Hin by train.
The white beaches of Hua Hin are long and wide, and there is a cozy atmosphere in the evening when everyone comes to the beach to walk or to meet friends. At the end of the beach you will find the pier where numerous fish restaurants night after night are packed and serve the most delicious dishes.

Putahracsa consists of two units. The luxurious Ocean View villas are located on the ocean side of the resort, the Silksand and Sansky rooms are situated on the other side of the road.

The semi-detached rooms, which are built amidst the lush gardens of Putahracsa, are just like private apartments. They are equipped with a light and modern design and finished with accessories in natural tones. I felt immediately at home, completely my style!

Our Silksand Deluxe room was situated in the rear and most quiet section of the resort, with an additional pool area which was lit up beautifully at night.
Sansky Room
The Sansky rooms are on the ground floor and have a private terrace where you can sit in the sun. The numerous trees and vegetation bring an oasis of tranquility.

The Sala Monsoon Restaurant serves daily breakfast and lunch. Surrounded by a relaxing atmosphere, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet with healthy smoothies, lots of fresh fruit and many other homemade products.

The beautiful pool is surrounded by lovely lounge beds where you can entertain yourself perfectly during the day. And if you want to go to Hua Hin, you can use the tuk-tuk service that brings you to the center. What more could you ask for?

Putachracsa and Hua Hin have both surprised me positively. However, the employees of Putachracsa have surely made the biggest impression on me. They are genuinely the most friendly and cordial staff I have met during my trip through Thailand.
The General Manager forms together with his staff a top team. So do not be surprised when he personally welcomes you for a dinner at the Ocean bar at sea. The people of Putahracsa stand for quality, top service and cordiality and that’s why I felt myself so comfortable like at home.

The Oceanside Restaurant is located directly at the beach and serves delicious Thai dishes and fresh fish from the grill. Nice detail, when you look out for the first time over the sea, you will notice naval ships off the coast. At night they are all lit with thousands of lights.

In the recently opened Oceanside Beach Club you can listen to trendy lounge music and choose from a variety of tropical cocktails. You can chill on the lounge cushions and enjoy the sunset. The jetset also knows to find this place, thus it might happen that you see a royal guest of the Thai family passing by.

How to get there?
Hua Hin is located about 2.5 hours driving (186 kilometers) south of Bangkok, making it a perfect place to escape from the busy city life of Bangkok. From here, you can also tour further to the South towards the beautiful beach of Pranburi in order to travel from there, southwards to Krabi.
